One way to send a message to IDIOT Biden would be to help remove IDIOT Democrats from office...

John Bel Edwards is an 'enabler' of Joe Biden and his goal of destroying as many American jobs as he can and send them to China...

Auntie Nancy Pelosi's nephew Gov Gavin Newsome is facing recall in California. Some say his political career is over.

Energy jobs are extemely important for Louisiana. Not only considerable jobs bus also oil and gas revenue from its production...

John Bel Edwards was very happy to attend POS (not POTUS) Biden's inauguration.

As far as I am concerned, Biden is a POS (Piece of S...)

Does a recall option exist in the Louisiana Constitution? Not all states have recall provisions. Many of the older states that were admitted before the Progressive Era lack initiative, referendum (except for bond issues) and recall provisions.

How does one recall a Governor of Louisiana?

How many signatures do you need?

How much time can the petition be active?

What part of the Louisiana Constitution outlines a recall of a Governor?

What are your plans when the vast majorities of voters in New Orleans and Baton Rouge do not advocate your theoretical petition?

How about recalling Governors in states that did not side with Texas in their lawsuit?

Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin have opposed Texas, as have at total of 20 other states, D.C, and two territories in a Brief file by D.C.

The District of Columbia together with the States and territories of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Guam, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington ….

Ohio takes no side, but wants the Court to decide the substantive issue of whether quickly “whether the Electors Clause permits state courts (and state executive officials) to alter the rules by which presidential elections are conducted.” Arizona’s Brief isn’t in the docket yet, but its Motion suggests it’s not taking a side but wants a quick court decision.

There a;ready is a recall of Gov. John Bel Edwards

An effort to recall Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) was launched on August 31, 2020. Supporters of the recall have up to 180 days—or no later than February 27, 2021—to collect just over 600,000 signatures to require a recall election.

Rather than recall, how about you demand in-person voting, with ID and proof of registration and paper ballots. No precincts reporting until everything is closed and counted at a central location under supervision.

No longer letting New Orleans and a few other cities being able to tilt the election results at the last minute

While you’re at it, do the same in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky and Michigan. Imagine what the results could be.

And not just for Governor, SOS, Lt Gov and Senators, also. Or just repeal the 17th Amendment to take care of that problem.

Edwards would veto every bill that came down the pike. RECALL!

And Louisiana has a majority Republican legislature. If I’m not mistaken, significantly large majority.

Does the Louisiana legislature set the election laws or does Edwards?

Biggest we’re having is the state legislatures, mostly controlled by Republicans, not exercising their constitutional powers as they should.

If that’s true, you need to get the word out to the oil patch and make some commercials. If you let the time limit pass, it takes a long time to do it again.

Last week Edwards said that since we started shooting vaccines in La. ( Dec. 14 ), we forgot to record race of recipients. The overwhelming majority were distributed in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport areas. Guess where Edwards’ voters live?

“Rather than recall, how about you demand in-person voting, with ID and proof of registration and paper ballots. No precincts reporting until everything is closed and counted at a central location under supervision.”

Bad news - we closed out that option once enough Republicans listened to Lin Wood and ‘boycotted’ the Georgia Senate elections (to ‘teach the GOP a lesson’)...so not it’s universal mail-in voting.

you need

What's the matter with you doing it? I just looked to see if our Constitution allowed for a recall to be done and found what I provided.

In other words, I didn't start it. But I'll agree with you, that there has been zero mention of this. Don't really watch the local news, but I doubt it has even been mentioned on those outlets.

I’ll call BS on that. Perdue was up by 120,000 votes.

Then the mail in ballots kicked in......lead vanishes.

Fulton county sends mail in ballots to a secret board, in another building where 90% of mail in ballots were ‘adjudicated’ based on voters intent. Whatever the f*ck that is.

And the Republicans in the Georgia legislature let it happen

I don't live in Louisiana. Texas can figure stuff out without me telling them. That's why Texas is Texas. There are many people that will hear that Dems will tax them and kill their job and they vote Dem anyway. Unions vote against guns, jobs, higher taxes, and abortion, then bitch about what the gubmint is doing to them. Christians will vote for baby murder and sodomy and vote to take God out of the schools and out of the Democrat convention. I'm just saying that many oil workers vote Democrat because the union told them to, all the while Democrats are telling them they hate oil.

If you live in La, you should be voting Republican anyway because Dems hate guns, live babies, Christians, money, the flag, American history, and the South. Yet La votes for Democrats. Remember the governor and mayor of NO during Katrina? They voted another Democrat Governor anyway.

Yet La votes for Democrats.

Many do, but La. voted to reelect President Trump, they voted in a majority Republican legislature (House & Senate), but some how they also voted in a Democrat Governor.

As in the majority of the states that are blue, the majority of the landscape is red, until you come to the bigger cities. I suspect much of the larger cities play games a little closer to the vest than what the Democrats pulled in the presidential election a year later, but those games allow them to win the Governorship by close margins. The 2019 election had John Bel Edwards win by just over 40,000 votes, 774,498(D) to 734,286(R) - Total votes: 1,508,784.

I have since requested a petition, signed it and sent it in. I told my wife to ask people she knows if they realize a recall petition exists to recall John Bel Edwards, as she knows many more people than I, and hopefully it will spread through to a large enough crowd to get the necessary signatures. But I agree, whomever started this recall petition should have secured backing to advertise the fact much better than it has been.

Had it not been for this post, I would not have known about it. Because this post triggered me to see if a recall was even allowed. Low & behold I found out there was already a recall petitioned.

Very Good! To get stuff done it almost always takes personal involvement.

Look at Newsome in California. Even the communists are getting tired of him so the petition for recall was met all in a couple of months. For a long time it was not going anywhere. People just have to realize that they are "We the People" and do something about it.

Most of the time we hear, " Somebody ought to do something!" That "somebody" is us. One person can go down to WalMart with some recall forms for one day and get hundreds of signatures. Even just a few hours can get lots done.

Well Governor Edwards never closed us down for an extended period of time. So he didn’t piss off the populace like Gavin Newsom did. Different dynamics at play.
