Experts say people can still spread and even develop COVID-19 after getting a vaccine. They note the immunity from the vaccine doesn’t begin to emerge until at least 12 days after inoculation. They add the vaccine doesn’t prevent coronavirus infection. It helps protect against serious illnesses. Experts advise people who get vaccinated to continue wearing a mask, washing their hands, and maintaining proper physical distancing.

So you can get it, and spread it, after the vaccine. We need to stop calling it a vaccine and call it somewhat effective symptom reducer.

Or you just might drop dead after getting it and having no known illnesses prior to dropping dead. But it would not be the vaccine that caused the death. If you actually get the virus and suddenly drop dead, then the virus was definitely the cause no matter the unknown illness. But if you drop dead after the vaccine, it was definitely not the vaccine that caused it. And only one or two people have dropped dead after the vaccine, and they were old or had drop dead syndrome that was discovered after they dropped dead after receiving the covid vaccine.

“However, in an op-ed in the Washington Post, Coleman writes she believes she contracted the virus while in lockdown for hours, in close quarters, following the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.”

Looks like this reporter is going to lose her job. It was an INSURRECTION, not a simple ‘riot’, according to the AP Stylebook. After all, how can they jail their political opponents if it was just a ‘riot’?

Other treatments also reduce the severity of COVID and they don’t require two injections with experimental biological agents.

Seems that there’s no point in getting the vaccine.

Just saw another report that claimed one of the vaccine ingredients is also found in lethal dose injections for executions.

First vaccine in history that does not prevent the person from getting infected.

Granted this is a new type of vaccine....I would like to see data showing this.

I personally think it’s because they don’t want people not wearing masks and claiming they have been vaccinated....or all the social issues that might come from this.

“In before the vaccine hawkers.”

They will deny, attack, ridicule and assure us (without proof) that it is perfectly safe and effective.

I already posted in another thread:

“CV19 ICU admissions reduced 75% simply by maintaining adequate blood serum levels of vitamin D:

So there is no reason for a pandemic. Except that they want us to have one.

Goalposts ... moved.

They told us two weeks to flatten the curve.

A year later we moved on to 'Wait for the vaccine so we can return to normal...'

Now it's 'the vaccine just means .... nothing, you need to stay locked down and in hiding forever.'

I agree the reason for these articles is they don’t want people not wearing masks claiming they were vaccinated when they were not.

The headline and article are misleading. The mRNA vaccines are very effective when considered two weeks after the second dose. Read the whole article and even it states that at that point there are no cases beyond mild symptoms. I am in the Moderna study and recently learned I did receive the vaccine last September. They provided the detailed December report prior to unmasking as part of the informed consent prior to unmasking. In the study there were 5 vaccine participants who tested positive for the virus, none had anything more than mild symptoms. That meant the symptoms did not interfere with their daily life.

Reading the whole article, the reports of illness beyond asymptotmaticly testing positive or mild symptoms in the now millions of people receiving the vaccine are consistent with the study findings. All those who were really ill had not reached the two week after the second dose time frame. None were in the time frame where immunity is most effective. That’s with now millions of people protected. But they still want us all to wear the masks. That’s the BS.

I travelled a lot after receiving the vaccine. Lots of opportunities to become infected, and I have continued to follow the protocols, but I’m really getting tired of it. I have seen no reports regarding the real potential for a vaccinated person two weeks past the second dose being contagious. It seems the o ly folks that are contagious are those in the first couple of weeks of actual illness while they have a fever, even if slight. We should really be focusing on taking temperatures and get rid of masks when there are none.

They add the vaccine doesn’t prevent coronavirus infection.

WTF? Then what's the point of getting the vaccine??

That isn’t what the article stated: ““But is it effective at preventing asymptomatic disease? There’s an open question about how much the vaccine is going to decrease transmission. It will take time to do those studies,””

BS.

In December, Moderna submitted data to the Food and Drug Administration showing that its vaccine prevented two-thirds of all infections, including asymptomatic ones.

That was a secondary finding from its testing. Now the company is conducting a further smaller study.

The vaccine is 95% effective 7-14 days after the second injection. We have administered over 42 million doses. Of course there are going to be thousands of examples of people getting the vaccine and then getting Covid before they developed full immunity.

If you have an adequate number of antibodies, either from the vaccine or from natural exposure, you are not going to get Covid and you are not going to spread Covid-not until your antibody titer has fallen or the virus has significantly mutated or both.
