Is time to be talking about a replacement for Rush?
My personal choice is Mark Steyn. But I’d love to hear the comments from others about who they would like behind the EIB network microphone.
Steyn would be fine.

Ditto.Mark Steyn would be excellent to take over for the Great One.

If anyone, why not Snerdley?
Steyn would be fine, but I don’t think he wants that 3 hour/day commitment. That is CRUSHING and there are few who can do it well.
Hannity does 3 hours of radio plus 1 hour of TV, but he’s extremely repetitive, and I can’t listen to him for an hour, much less 3.
Todd Herman (SP?) has been the other most frequent fill in, and I enjoy him a lot.
There will never be another Rush. Never.
I heard yesterday (although I have been unable to verify it) that Dan’s lymphoma may have metastasized to one of his lungs. Not good if true.

I am a HUGE Bongino fan and follwer, but Dan has terrible health problems.
After his entire course of treatment for his neck lymphoma, he just discovered nodules in his lungs.
Pray for Dan, but he can’t take Rush’s place.

Rush listener 1989 +. Closest I’ve ever heard to the magnificent Rush is Steve Deace. Love and appreciate all of the guest hosts over the years, but Steve is a force that it might be the right time for.
It won’t be one of Rush’s substitutes.
