Nice try, bucko. Without regard to the nature of the OP article, they changed the definition to accommodate a CLEARLY DEFINED EXPERIMENTAL COMPOUND which REMAINS under clinical trials. Furthermore, as I elaborated here, they are NOT 'vaccines' and are unproven to do anything but as stipulated by the CDC (which states NOTHING about blocking/preventing infection, aka preventing disease.

Merriam Webster changed their definition of Vaccine between 2/5/21- 2/6/21 to accommodate the narrative. They since have tried to correct it but the change can be seen between 1/18/21 - 1/26/21

How do you think every virus ever replicates? It enters cells and has those cells create copies of itself. Those copies then emerge and are attacked as foreign despite being "its own creation" because the immune system responds to things that don't belong. If you get infected with COVID-19, your body's cells are replicating the entire SARS-CoV-2 virus. If you get an mRNA or viral vector vaccine, your body's cells are replicating one small part of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. What's the difference, except that the whole virus causes a bunch of other problems that the one small part doesn't?

An auto-immune disorder is when the immune system attacks healthy tissue. That's not what this is. The S-protein is not healthy tissue. T-cells are supposed to attack infected human cells and kill them to terminate pathogen production. Same with cancer cells. The fear around auto-immune disorders and COVID-19 vaccines has been whipped up by people who either don't understand the biology or who do, but are choosing to intentionally mislead people to push their agenda. Don't buy into it; it's a bunch of nonsense.

Fair enough. Like I said I’m not really buying or selling any agenda, just discussing. One of the great things about this forum is there are so many people from a variety of backgrounds with vast experience and knowledge. And unlike other forums, it’s somewhat controlled so even though a lot of outside stuff is brought in to create a thread, a lot of other people can correct the record, or make a joke about it :-)

As to the comments you replied to - of course viruses replicate, as do human cells. I was merely trying to say that the mRNA vaccines trigger the internal creation of a foreign substance to attack, instead of injecting a foreign substance to attack. As for “auto-immune” I said it “sounded like” didn’t say it was. That may seem like hemming and hawing or hedging but it isn’t. I try to use words to express my intended meaning and if I don’t know something with high degree of confidence I will express it with modifiers such as those “sounds like”, “seems”, “believe” etc. Or, I’ll try to make a joke.

mRNA or viral vector therapies have not been approved for non-experimental or non-emergency use in humans.

Even sub-unit vaccines are new technology, with a few new vaccines being approved.

Interesting that China is focusing on whole virus vaccines while the West is focused on unproven technology.
