I liked the turkey loaf the best when heated up.

The beefsteak and the stew were the worst, smelled just like Alpo when opened. A half bottle of Tabasco and heated over a wad of C4 helped a lot.

Han and eggs was my favorite. I think it came with a B-2 unit but you could trade for a B-3, which had better candy.

C-rats weren't too bad if you were hungry.

IF I was hungry? I was always hungry - I lost 20 pounds.
The worst was during TET when Sir Charles closed the supply lines and we had to have everything air lifted.
I remember some "good" c-rats like turkey loaf, beans and weenies, and chicken something.
