He’s not a liberal. Read his web page Outkick.
Clay is a “conservative” “sports” guy?
What does that mean?
Nope. That was fake news. Premier Broadcasting put out Rush’s show. The Bongino show’s people tried to claim they were the replacement by saying they were taking Rush’s old time slot, but they were only replacing the “time slot” on some stations.
No sale x 2!
Maybe that is wrong....I dunno.
Never heard of them.
Interesting comment in the article...
“The re-cut Limbaugh shows were pulling in about 75% to 80% of its regular audience, the Journal reported.”
Those are amazing numbers when you think about the fact that the shows are essentially re-run comments pulled and curated to fit today’s news. I would suspect that 75-85 percent of the Rush Limbaugh Show numbers when he was alive are still higher numbers than these two guys will ever pull, or Dan Bongino will ever pull...or any other person could ever pull.
I would milk that for as long as those numbers are that high.
He taught me so much..
Clay Travis and Buck Sexton a pickin and a grinnin.
Sounds more like a country singing duo.
Bongino is on Cumulus owned stations only - about 220 stations or so. Rush had over 600 plus stations, so his stations are splintering to different hosts.
I thought the slot had already been determined - Don Bongino.
You thought wrong. Why is that? Honest question...
I know Mark Stein isn’t native born but he is the only guy in the country who can at least hold a candle to Rush’s boundless intelligence, biting tongue, and non-stop terrific, acid sense of humor.
Get a crowd to laugh at the enemy and you have won most of the battle.
He is the only one on my radar that could remotely be good enough for the slot.
Frankly I don't think he'd take it, he has the contract he wants, his family, he likes where he lives, etc etc.
And I can get on the show :-), he goes national I can't...
Rush was a DJ, turned conservative commentator. He was an entertainer who was conservative.
NO! All they need to do is play Rush’s programs with selected past news/thoughts.!
Speaking of Stein, haven’t seen him on Tucker’s show in a while. He used to be on quite often.
I have said several times the blockhead will not be it. Now it’s true.
These guys can either turn up something interesting to listen to and build a good advertising platform or they’ll be gone too.
Radio shows have nothing to do with political ideology other than as content that draws in listeners that advertizers will pay for. No more no less.
The market will decide whether these 2 are a hit or not.
So they’re replacing Rush with a disinformation agent, is what it sounds like to me.
Sure, ok.
He said voting Obama was dumb, but Obama’s 2008 platform would be almost like a Republican platform today. He voted for Trump.
