wouldn't it be cheaper to just get a $1.79 box of cosmic brownies?

Little Debbie's product line is a mix of hits and misses. The greatest contribution was the Nutty Bar (now called "Nutty Buddies" despite a mass market ice cream cone that had that name). The strawberry short cake rolls taste too chemically, even for the genre where some is to be expected. The chocolate cupcakes are drier than competition. The Peanut Butter Crunch Bars are acceptable.
The worst junky baked treat breakfast cereal knock off is undoubtedly Post Twinkies Cereal. Drier than unbuttered toast (no spongieness), no creamy middle (hjow is it a Twinkie cereal?) and worst of all, a strong COCONUT aftertaste (?!).

Little Debbie makes some pretty darn good, very inexpensive, snack cakes. You can still buy a pack of 2 brownies for 50 cents! And the large box (below) for around 3 dollars.
