Children's channel Nickelodeon’s made a hard, shocking push to promote the "LGBTQ+" agenda to kids stuck at home during the pandemic over the past year.
In the last two weeks alone, both Nickelodeon and its preschool-targeted network, Nick Jr., have released videos championing “trans,” “queer,” and “pansexual” inclusion.
One video that sparked mass outrage depicted a cartoon version of drag queen Nina West (Andrew Levitt) singing about various LGBTQIA groups “loving each other so proudly” on “Blues Clues and You,” a show for two- to five-year olds. That same video showed a female-to-male transgender beaver who appeared to have post-operative surgical scars on its chest.
In a separate live action video Nickelodeon posted to YouTube last week, West explains the meanings behind various LGBTQ Pride flags through a song:

sexualizing little kids is evil - kids should be allowed to be kids.
But their “ratings” are a secondary issue - as long as they have subscribers, they don’t have to worry about that as much. They have big cash flow even if ratings would otherwise be too low to sustain them with ad revenue.
My children grew up without Nickelodeon, and without cable TV.
Both are in their 20s, and conservatives.
Virtually no normal who comes into contact with actual members of the LGBTQ+ movement support it after actual exposure to the agenda. Nor do a lot of the more normal gays.
Great news but as long as cable subscribers (millions of them) are forced to subsidize low rated basic cable, there will be ZERO change.
One thing John McInsane was correct about—he fought for it, IIRC, in the late 1980s and early 1990s—was the right for CONSUMERS of television entertainment to CHOOSE their own channels. He was against bundling.
Picking your stations a la carte would likely get RID of low rated garbage stations like fake news CNN, LOGO, etc.
Or those entities would have to appeal to more folks....

Ratings mean spit when liberal money continues to prop up these shows. They are a constant wedge trying to isolate conservative America from the rest of the country.
I remember Nickelodeon in the 80s and 90s. Good programming then for kids. You can’t do that on television was one of my favorite shows, along with Double Dare.
I knew to the moment when the ‘60’s counter culture died. It was an ad in Newsweek for ripped, worn-looking jeans worn by an obvious hippie. I realized that once the hippies were being marketed to, the real counter culture they were a part of had turned mainstream. Overnight, people who had maintained the button down collar and good looking dresses during the hippy movement were now all dressed as hippies.
When I saw more or less straight-laced parents virtue signaling by dressing their kids up as drag queens, I got a similar feeling. The LGBT culture was on the cusp of vanishing. Like the ersatz hippies who became stock brokers, but dressed like hippies all through college the stupid parents subsumed the real gay culture into irrelevance. I noticed some time ago that butch lesbians were no longer fashionable. Now, they mostly identify as “queer” to make room for the new “trans” women. (Trans women can’t be lesbians because that would make them heterosexual men in stupid clothing. So, something had to give and it was old-fashioned lesbians who had to convert to something else.)
There have always been homosexuals. But instead of forcing bakers to bake their wedding cakes, they’ll just go back to being regular men who occasionally hook up with other men. Lesbians will be much quieter, not because they don’t like other women anymore, but because the loud, in-your-face brashness is just no longer new or cool.
You probably won’t see many more gay weddings or gender reveal parties either. The feeling of being part of a social movement has faded into irrelevance. Something else will come along, but it’s not here yet. Enjoy the respite.
Nickelodeon destroyed Amanda Bynes, Jamie Lynn Spears, and who knows how many others. Dan Schneider just quietly went away. They care about children like I care about Yuengling intake.

I quit DISH this last year and I no longer subsidize Marxist crap on TV.

I pretty much watch foreign TV shows now.
Ratings sell advertising.
