Explosives to demolish the standing units?
That will contaminate and confuse the evidence that collapsed the ocean facing building.
Has anyone seen the original photos of the ocean front section of the building that collapsed, before the rescue teams and equipment arrived?
A perfect pancake. You can actually count ten floors stacked on top of each other. Floors 1 and 2 are below ground, in the parking garage. No trace of any support columns are visible.
The only way that could have happened is if all the support columns (several dozen of them) collapsed at the same moment.
The two sections of the building behind the ocean front section did NOT collapse that way.
In the original photos, you can see support columns twisted and pointing all over the place in those two collapsed sections.
I am still waiting to hear a plausible explanation (or even a plausible theory) for how all the columns under the ocean front section collapsed at the same moment.

They should allow the owners of poor Coco to rescue her.

i guess you missed the part where the existing wrecked building shifted on Thursday ... if they don’t take down this unstable wreck in a controlled, vertical fashion with explosives like is done all the time worldwide (great videos of casinos in Vegas taken down that way), it could easily fall sideways, causing untold deaths and damage ... given the gale force winds possible on Monday (in another part of the article you didn’t bother to read), the existing 13 story wreck could be blown over on Monday ...
They seem to be in a big hurry to bring down the entire building.
Why demolish the north side of the building with pets still inside? Where is PETA? Where is SPCA?
Why are they destroying evidence? What is the hurry?
It was a brilliant demolition. CDI is the company that did it- there are videos of their work on YouTube- (they did the Trump hotel in New Jersey) and it’s impressive.
So awful that it had to be done, but they couldn’t recover more bodies until the rest came down and the possible storm coming made the timing necessary.
From what I gather, there was an emergency court hearing for pet owners. Denied. Folks had been through the standing building with thermal imaging. No animals were found.

Why bother? Everything that happens is a conspiracy, just go with it. Everything. Including this comment.
I know. I was a firefighter/ first responder for 10 years. After you’ve done it for a few years you pretty much know what the deal is within an hour or so. Make your best effort but at some point the safety of the crew becomes paramount. They’re well beyond that now.
It takes weeks and weeks of planning and work to bring a tower down. I know, we were told that after 9/11.
They really are the best in the world. Still a family owned and run company, FWIW, deeply religious.

Huge difference in size and complexity of the structures between the WTC Towers (2 of them) and 110 stories and Champlain Towers South’s 12 stories that was already in a weakened and unstable condition with one section partially collapsed.
Kudos to the expertise of Controlled Demolition Inc who were able to accomplish this in a relatively short time at great personal risk to make the site safer for the recovery efforts.

Actually not. Your understanding of structures appears to be somewhat limited, and your ability to conceive of other approaches limited.
You can think of me when the government decides that your house needs to be demolished.
Imagine if Trump buys that property and develops it. I would LOVE to see the melt down.
