How parents are using facts to fight against Critical Race Theory in Brevard County, Florida.
Critical Race Theory (“CRT”) is a dangerous ideology that eats away at America’s foundations. However, the attention it’s received recently provides an enormous opportunity for those Americans who have long been sounding the alarm about this formerly insidious, but now outright pernicious, movement.
I am one of those Americans. I’m also the father of children in a school district infected by CRT. The district in question is Brevard Public Schools (BPS), in Brevard County, Florida.
Brevard is a seemingly unlikely place to find CRT. Known as Florida’s “Space Coast,” Brevard is the home of NASA and Patrick Space Force Base. It’s a primarily “red” county that heavily favored Trump in the 2020 election. Many in Brevard consider themselves patriots, dedicated to the American ideals of individual liberty and equality for all. Yet CRT was still Trojan-horsed into BPS, in the form of BPS’s new “Diversity and Equity” (DE) program, created over the summer and fall of 2020, in the name of closing racial disparities in students’ educational outcomes.
There’s much debate about CRT’s proper definition. I feel the most apt definition focuses on CRT as a movement of activists using racism to achieve power – an idea I came to from CRT proponents’ own words. More on this shortly.
One of Brevard’s state representatives, Randy Fine, held a press conference on June 25, 2021, to bring attention to CRT in BPS. At Fine’s side was the parental rights organization “Moms For Liberty” (“M4L”), as well as former BPS employee Anna Ryan. M4L reached out to Fine after collecting emails, documents, and receipts related to CRT’s existence in BPS, all obtained via public records requests.

I used to live n Brevard County, FL. There are plenty of people there who will not tolerate the CRT crap at all. I would love to watch what happens with this...with boxes of popcorn!

Leftist ARE American Education, and everyone here knows it. But what the hell, the schools are ‘free’, so why not dump our kids in them, so we can live the lifestyle we deserve.

This is precisely why it’s time to think bigger, and demand that public schools simply be BROKEN UP and disbanded in their present form. The schools will ALWAYS do as they wish, and right now they’re full-tilt to starting a race war. And when we try to stop things like CRT, Common Core, Gay Indoctrination - they simply state that none of these things even exist...thereby they have no reason to stop doing them, or even to defend them.
New schools can then constructed, much like Reagan did with the Air Traffic Controllers - simply get rid of the present bunch, meaning ALL TEACHERS, Administrators, etc. (but keep the janitors and mechanics, they’re valuable people and hard to replace). And then start over...but require that NO ONE work in these schools if they have an ‘Education’ degree, as an absolute minimum for consideration. Sure, the 5% or so of actual good teachers will be thrown out of work...but it’s a small price for taking back the country.

So how far would you go? They want to teach CRT and are not about to let parents stop them. They cannot be reformed. Are you also willing to throw them on the streets and replace them with people from other backgrounds, such as those who retired from a corporate career? If not, how do we convince them to stop doing something that they deny and we cannot prove they even do? (at least to the level of their satisfaction)
What makes this funny is anyone who thinks the leftists care and will change. They are out for your children and they want us exterminated.
