(RINOs):
an abbreviated form of “Republican In Name Only,” has been made popular by former President Donald TrumpSorry, but the term had been in common usage among true conservatives, going back long before PDJT entered politics. I know that Bob Dole, J. McCain, Susan Collins, M. Romney, Bill Weld, Arlen Specter and a host of others have been called RINOs going back at least 25 years.

Donald Trump was the person who made the term RINO popular? Really? Can the reporter really be that out of touch with reality?
To: Migraine
Sorry, but the term had been in common usage among true conservatives, going back long before PDJT entered politics. When I joined FR in 2001, I saw the term "RINO" posted quite a bit. I distinctly remember asking what it meant.

"Aaron Parseghian is an American journalist working as a reporter for FOX 17 News. He was born and raised in Massachusetts." He graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in film and television studies and economics. Based on his Linked In profile, this is his first job out of college.
So, yes, he probably is that out of touch with reality.

Really? Can the reporter really be that out of touch with reality? Most definitely! His bio says he went to the University of Vermont before moving to Michigan. Indoctrinated at one of the best Socialist education camps on the East Coast then moved to where he can grow the practice. Plus - he looks too young to care about the terms origins, all history is current to these louts.

I both remember and used the term “RINO” in the late 1960s when in high school.

Huh? RINO has been around for at least two decades. Fox17 should have this Aaron character arrested for loitering.

His research probably consisted of going to the online urban dictionary for the definition and word origin

Could’ve done without the apostrophe (RINOs) to avoid looking like idiots.

Need more of these kind of things to happen. Make it very uncomfortable as possible to remain a RINO within the Republican party.

FOX’s Aaron Parseltongue:
“...an abbreviated form of “Republican In Name Only,” has been made popular by former President Donald Trump,”
Um, Aaron — Conservatives have been using it for many years. Trump just got covered saying it, cuz our MSM found it useful to use against him.
“...concerns that the 2020 election was in some way “stolen” from Trump...”
Um, Aaron (you ignorant young ‘reporter’) — The story of stories lies at your feet, and you step over it, sneering at those who say “Hey! Aaron! Look down!”
FOX 17 in western Michigan should be ashamed.
