Surveillance footage that showed the brutal beating of a 22-year-old freelance photographer in Seattle emerged on social media Sunday raising new safety concerns in the city, a report said.
Seattle Police said in a statement that a bystander "came to the victim’s aid and called 911. Medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center, where he received treatment for head trauma and significant injuries to his face."
The suspect was identified as a Black male, 5’10", 180 lbs., with a medium build, and was wearing an orange and yellow t-shirt and black pants with a white stripe down the side at the time of the attack, police said.

There was a video tour of Seattle a month ago showing the city of Seattle all cleaned up.
But friends just got back from there and said it is as bad as ever — bums, drugs, crime, graffiti, filth. We have a lot of neighbors here in North Idaho who have fled that.
They should just quarter off Oregon and Washington as no go areas and let them all duke it out.

Nobody seems to do anything about it. DNC encourages it. The GOP ignores it. The justice/police system is on the side of the DNC (just following orders). I don’t recognize America as a whole Republic anymore.
He knocks the guy out, kicks him in the head again to make sure, takes his belongings, then the attacker just strolls off as if there isn’t a problem in the world.
The manly arts of self-defense used to be a part of every boys training.
But with the feminization of our schools.
They have been left in the dust.
I know many people have a gun, but not necessarily in Seattle. Additionally, I have learned that “bad people” seem to have an innate radar sense about who is the easy target and who is not. Very seldom do they go up against people that are not easy targets.
Shoot on sight.
I’m not blaming the victim, of course. But he let the bad guy get in way too close. Get your hands up in a disguised defensive posture, or pull out pepper spray, or evade, or whatever. Because something bad is gonna happen.
Monday morning quarterbacking, I know. But it is something to think about.
Word of advice to skinny nerds who are visiting a city they aren't familiar with: DON'T SET UP DRUG DEALS IN PLACES YOU DON'T KNOW WITH STRANGERS!
At least there were no police to escalate the situation or engage in a dangerous pursuit.

Yep. They know you either have cash going in, or drugs coming out.
Some very conservative friends from a restaurant they owned and operated just moved up there from Texas. Husband is in a good job in the lumber industry. I tried to talk them out of it, but the allure of a good job was too great. The worst part is that they have kids, and can’t afford private school.
I’ll bet anything that the entire state has needle exchange programs for the drug addicts. Probably supply the drugs too.
