Some very conservative friends from a restaurant they owned and operated just moved up there from Texas. Husband is in a good job in the lumber industry. I tried to talk them out of it, but the allure of a good job was too great. The worst part is that they have kids, and can’t afford private school.
I feel bad for them. They will have a hard ti e adjusting to the weather and political climate.
My uncle did the reverse years ago. He sold lumber for Weyerhaeuser in Idaho and Washington, then moved to Ft. Worth. He always made a ton of money when a tornado wiped out a town.
