A Covid antibody cocktail drug used to treat former US President Donald Trump has finally been approved for UK patients.
Britain's medical regulator gave Ronapreve the green light after a major UK study found it could prevent prevent infection and treat patients who were already sick.
It showed that among patients with at least one risk factor for severe Covid, it slashed their risk of death or hospitalisation by 70 per cent. ,,,
...The drug has also been shown to dramatically reduced the risk of catching Covid, but protection only lasts for a month. UK health officials will now decide who should get it.

The shot might be cheaper but infusion would be better

I don’t know how his symptoms really compared to the rest of us as his anxiety level was much higher. My 78 year old father in law had a little trouble breathing the day (Saturday) after his positive test. He was a bit panicked so ordered the infusion. It (and a steroid shot) helped him recover quickly. Tuesday he was outside walking by himself and saying it was due to the Presidential treatment he received.

Smart man. His panick might have saved his life. The earlier you get that infusion the better.
I didn’t specify- but the FiL had his infusion back in December. Also, his wife (lots of heart issues) had covid before he did and it was two weeks of what she described as a cold.
Why was it not availably after Trump took it...Because the CDC and FDA control what drugs we can have...Covid has exposed them as a bunch of fools...
Just like Trump exposed the GOP as a bunch of fools
