An evident spike in COVID cases around the nation has raised questioning against the United States’ prioritization of mask mandates and vaccination rate. Inoculation continues to be a mitigator of serious effects from COVID, but in the long-term picture, is still not as dependable in response as natural immunization.
COVID restrictions and vaccination efforts have been the lead metrics in our nation’s response to the new wave, while a focus on natural immunization gets pushed to the background.
A study out of Israel looked at breakthrough cases and concluded that these cases were likelier among the vaccinated compared to those with natural immunity. The data emerges as Israel experiences an ongoing spike in cases, despite one of the best vaccination rates among all countries.
As of Saturday, 51 percent of Americans have been fully vaccinated against COVID, compared to 60 percent from Israel.
Reported by Unherd, the study observed data from over 76,000 Israelis, divided into three groups: “the doubly vaccinated (with the Pfizer vaccine), the previously infected but unvaccinated, and the previously infected with only a single vaccine dose.”

The data strongly cautioned that people unaffected by the virus, but with full vaccination status, were much more susceptible to getting a breakthrough case of COVID. This group had a 13.06 times higher likelihood of getting infected compared to those with natural immunity — following three months of observation.
Authors from the study declare, “This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant.”

With a rise in cases also affecting the U.S.’ exit strategy out of COVID, the conversation around natural immunity must be fully embraced based on the data rather than splitting the population between the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

(I think I DID get it in January, 2020. Exercise for the reader:
Try to get an actual test, to actually prove that. Read the fine print.
Most will sell you a test that actually does nothing of the sort,
but instead will give you one that WILL tell if you’ve been “vaccinated”,
or not, or another that supposedly will tell you if you have Covid right now, or not. That one appears to be widely used to convince people they never had it, and need to get “Vacinated”.
(We finally found out that the supposedly proper Lab Corp test,
to see if you’ve ever actually had COVID or not, that Dad was NOT given,
is, surprise, surprise, Not “Available”. Was it ever, really?)
For some inexplicable reason, I’m not convinced that global vaccination,
booster enforcement, and an international Medical Surveillance State to
enrich and empower those that want to control everybody, is in the world’s
best interests, at this time…
I suspect I’m not alone in this.
Just say NO to the PedoDementoCorruptoCrat, and his psyco crew,

I had my antibody test done this past Monday (naturally occurring infection in January 2021). I got the results the next day. I’m at 308. I don’t know what the heck it means, but glad those suckers are in there. :) It wasn’t pleasant while getting the antibodies, but I survived. I was also briefly sick in May and July. Not sure if I was hit with it again either of those times, but both bouts were brief.
It is now five days out from the Trump rally in Cullman; five days is the normal time from exposure to signs of illness. I was there, relying on natural immunity.
The crowd was quite tightly packed and there was no social distancing. Nobody was wearing a mask.
Feeling fine this evening even though the press said it was a super spreader event.

I took an antibody test at labcorp yesterday. They also offer t-cell tests. Which test do they not offer?
They gave him the Spike Protein test, instead of the anti-body test.
He’s still sorting out the “availability” of the test he asked for and
found out later that that is not what he was given. He would never
have known without reading the fine print, that he had NOT just been
tested to see if he ever had Covid (And was told it was negative),
and that he was instead tested for spike proteins. He was quite clear
about what he wanted when he went to get tested.
Perhaps it’s just incompetence in this case, but the over the top push
for experimental vaccination as the answer to everything as well as just
to remain employed for way too many people, is backed by a seriously
evil agenda.
Why is the answer to every mistake, “Oh just get the damn shots!”
The masks turned out to be foolish, the lockdowns were cover for all kinds
of destructive tyranny, and now they are “Pot Committed, All In” for
mandatory vaccines and a medical surveillance state.

What to do about it is another thing. We live in USSR-WA, where Czar Inslee does whatever he feels like doing on any particular day. Of course, in his pea-sized brain, he is “following the science and data.” He now requires everyone - vaccinated or not - to wear masks indoors. Just another punitive mandate from a power-thirsty governor who wants his legacy to be “he saved humanity from climate change and Covid!” We are seriously thinking of moving to Idaho, where people are still sane.
Anyway, thanks for the info on the test. I got my antibody test back yesterday, and it was positive. So I should not need the vaccine, right? /s Dictator Inslee has not publicly acknowledged that those of us who have had Covid probably have better immunity than the vaccinated folks. He has mandated that anyone who works for the state must be vaccinated by some time in October or lose their jobs. He is an evil, heartless, cruel “man.” He thinks freedom is being able to go to the store and feel assured that you will not get Covid from anyone because everyone is vaccinated! To repeat: he is an evil, heartless, cruel “man.”
