Beautiful afghan! Good luck :-)
We had a very stressful 2 weeks around here & that was exactly during the time I had to get my hairpin lace & crochet scarf finished for the county fair. I couldn’t make the deadline to submit, so it will have to be next year. My friend, who entered a few things in a mid-west fair (where she grew up) got several ribbons and a “Reserve” ribbon on a doily .... so close to ‘best in show’.
I’m knitting a lot now ... for whatever reason, I find it to be something that calms my nerves, more than crochet. I’m about 65% finished with the latest project.
Thoughts of Christmas are beginning to float across my radar occasionally ..... š
Me, too! I want to do a Home Made Christmas this year, for the most part. Ours are usually very low key, so it's pretty easy.
I am almost finished with the afghan for Beau to take up to our cabin; it's in lovely 'manly' shades of blue that match his eyes. ;) I want to keep this current afghan, win or lose. I just LOVE the colors.
Yarn is on order for the next one I'll work on this Fall into Winter, inspired by this local color pallet:
