As it happens, I saw Tyler Childers last night. Not at a dive bar, but a large amphitheater. One of the things that went through my head was “This is damn sure not country pop a la Garth Brooks!”
I saw him 3 years ago and 2 years ago. I liked him quite well then, and was blown away by how much better his band has become. And they very good before. Recommended.

Both he and his wife are getting real fat and need to get healthy by eating a lot less food.

Hands down the best live show I’ve ever seen was 2112. Second was a toss up between Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
