After my successful Achilles surgery on Friday, I was rushed to the ER on Saturday after suffering a mild heart attack. Over the previous two weeks, I had DVT (deep vein thrombosis), which was caused by my Achilles rupture. This is an extremely common outcome for such injuries.

Thrombosis has been one of the adverse effects of one of the vaccines. Hill believes that there is no relation. Missing from the article is information on when he was vaccinated.
I was not aware that an operation for an Achilles hill rupture commonly resulted in DVT.

I was not aware that an operation for an Achilles hill rupture commonly resulted in DVT. In my experience, the most common cause of post surgical DVT is if you develop an infection and need a pic line.

The incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the treatment of acute Achilles tendon rupture is reported to be between 0.3% and 50%.
