When your comes here are some suggestions to use as arguments, I believe they are all valid.
1. There are two Executive Orders addressing COVID vaccine mandates.
Section 1: Policy. This order promotes economy and efficiency in Federal procurement by ensuring that the parties that contract with the Federal Government provide adequate COVID–19 safeguards to their workers performing on or in connection with a Federal Government contract or contract like instrument as described in section 5(a) of this order. These safeguards will decrease the spread of COVID–19, which will decrease worker absence, reduce labor costs, and improve the efficiency of contractors and subcontractors at sites where they are performing work for the Federal Government. Accordingly, ensuring that Federal contractors and subcontractors are adequately protected from COVID–19 will bolster economy and efficiency in Federal procurement.
This EO has no authority to require Federal Employees to become vaccinated.
2. Executive Order 14043, Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees
Section 1 (Excerpt): COVID–19 vaccines are widely available in the United States. They protect people from getting infected and severely ill, and they significantly reduce the likelihood of hospitalization and death. As of the date of this order, one of the COVID–19 vaccines, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID–19 Vaccine, also known as Comirnaty, has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and two others, the Moderna COVID–19 Vaccine and the Janssen COVID–19 Vaccine, have been authorized by the FDA for emergency use. The FDA has determined that all three vaccines meet its rigorous standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality.

As of this October 10, 2021, the only vaccine that is listed as approved on the FDA Website is Comirnaty.

Note: I personally visited my local Health Clinic (large town) to see if they had Comirnaty in stock, the answer was no.

The Jansen and Moderna Vaccines are still only authorized under the emergency use authorizations. Note, they “authorized,” but they are NOT “approved” by the FDA. They have not been demonstrated to be safe or effective. They have been allowed because the FDA has opined that the potential benefits outweigh the risks. That benefit vs. risk analysis is very low. It allows for a vaccine to be used before the trials for safety and effectiveness are completed. The safety and effectiveness are being monitored. That means that all people who get these COVID-19 vaccine are taking part in an experiment to determine the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines. They are unwitting test subjects.

6. COVID-19 Vaccines & Fetal Cell Lines (Religious Excemption)
Per a fact sheet provided by North Dakoda Health, the following claims are made:
The mRNA COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer and Moderna do not require the use of any fetal cell cultures in order to manufacture (produce) the vaccine. Early in the development of mRNA vaccine technology, fetal cells were used for “proof of concept” (to demonstrate how a cell could take up mRNA and produce the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein) or to characterize the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.
Johnson & Johnson did require the use of fetal cell cultures, specifically PER.C6, in order to produce and manufacture the vaccine.

I filed a FOIA Open Records Request for Governor Kemp’s inboxes in GA for Executive Order 14042. Just a few days ago, by the way. ZERO results returned. He lied to Georgians and Republicans when he said he would fight the order.
I image most of the others are blowing smoke up our you know what, too.

NOTE: I support voluntary vaccination when medically indicated.
If Comirnaty were made available in the United States now, that would mean that the Moderna and J&J vaccines would have to be immediately suspended because the Emergency Use Authorization would no longer be in effect due to an approved treatment being available.

I believe these long-standing policies still apply and logically should be respected for federal civilian employees too.
Europe and Israel recognize and respect natural immunity.

I expect that the DOD are much like FR where it appears that 20% are hard no’s 50% have drank the koolaid and 30% are hoping to be left alone but will do what is told.
The problem is not with the 50% it is with the 30% that just plain suck.

You know, not all us fall into “problem” category. Many of us want to only work and earn a fair day’s wage. So before you go lumping us all in together, stop and realize that the honest ones are gonna be hurt in a bad way if we lose our jobs because of the madman in the White House.
We’ll see how much of the Republic is left by how this plays out. Remember, Obama admitted that he knew DACA wasn’t within his constitutional authority but he executed it under an executive order anyway and it functioned like the law of the land for five years, and even afterwards it’s still not dead because leftist bureaucrats and judges are fighting tooth and nail to keep it alive.
It’s very possible that if you’re a Fed and refuse to get vaccinated, that you’ll be fired and when the matter reaches the Supreme Court, they will rule against the Biden administration, but it could be a year, two years, maybe eight years later before you get backpay and your job back. If I know anything about federal workers, particularly those in the DC area, a frightening amount of them make six figure incomes and still live paycheck to paycheck (what would you expect from a government that is constantly running out of money?). Those people may be as right wing as they come, but they don’t have the resources to weather out even missed two paychecks ... much less two years’ worth of paychecks.
Not the same vaccine.
