I have a mast cell disorder and have had no end of difficulty getting ANY action or assistance out of the medical community.

If it’s not something they can fix easily with a pill, like diabetes or high cholesterol, they don’t want to hear it, much less try to deal with it.

That last sentence seems to be about right.

It is mind boggling to me.

Some people are not persistant. They trust the Dr. Those people would have ended up with a lot of damage once the damage finally showed up in a basic test.

And for Seniors...Lord help them trying to deal with all of this and Medicare

When one DR said to me after a test...we will just wait and watch it.... I walked out of there cussing to myself saying you dont know who you are dealing with...there will be no waiting and seeing with me. “You’re fired”...Trump Apprentice Style before I got to my car.

On to the next Dr.

And I encourage people to look at the Muscular Dystrophy list of diseases (yours is not on it) and use them as Muscle to back you up. It has helped somewhat in getting through on one of the rare issues.
