NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) - Ivermectin, a drug that treats parasite infestations, is being studied at Vanderbilt as a possible treatment for COVID-19.

Vanderbilt is participating in a national study on several treatments. In addition to ivermectin, they're also researching fluticasone, a nose spray for allergies commonly known as Flonase, and fluvoxamine. "It’s one of the older anti-depressants that have been out there a very long time," Goyal said.
Fluvoxamine could have an anti-inflammatory effect according to the National Institutes of Health.
Beth Winslow is vaccinated, had her booster shot, and still got COVID-19. She decided to enroll in the study during quarantine. "For a day or two, it was like which one am I going to get? It’s kind of like Christmas," Winslow said.
She got either ivermectin or the placebo pill. Then, she writes down her symptoms every day in a diary. Researchers will compare those who got ivermectin and those who got the pill with nothing in it. "My hope is, we can help others not have to suffer," Winslow said.
The study is done remotely. "If you can give up a few minutes of your time, why not?” Winslow said.
Researchers are looking for people who've tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days and have at least two symptoms. In addition, participants must be 30 years old or older. Details here.

We already know the “study” will find that the only cure for the Fauci/China biological warfare virus is one of the Fauci/Big Pharma terminator vaccines that don’t actually prevent the illness and therefore require “boosters” every fifteen minutes.
The biggest crime of the 21st century was the CDC reaction to the pandemic that is now approaching its second anniversary. For months it focused all of its attention on pumping money into pharmaceuticals to create an experimental vaccine using the mRNA technology. Front line doctors fighting the disease and trying different treatment protocols were completely ignored. There was no effort to collect data on the treatments showing some promise and rushing them into trials. Now, two years later, and a year after the vaccine was introduced that doesn’t prevent the vaccinated from contracting or passing along the virus, trails on treatments are finally beginning.
Sadly the officially sanctioned treatment protocol for those contracting the disease after two years its to isolate at home and hope you recover. If you reach the point where you can’t breathe, come to the hospital where you’ll be put on a ventilator and probably die.
If the government had collected data on promising treatments from front line doctors and worked with them to develop treatment protocols in the early days, how many lives would have been saved?

It’s sort of a lame study if you ask me. Remote? Self-reporting? They need to do a study testing viral levels in the blood. Which group recovers faster? You can’t do that remotely.
But at least Vanderbilt are getting the ball moving. More than I can say about their football team ;-)

It’s interesting to view all the covid trials on ClinicalTrials.gov. What is surprising is how old some of these trials are, considering this is a ‘crisis’.
2 years in and now we get a study? Unbelievable.
I wonder why they left out Hydroxychloroquine in the study?
I have the paste in case I come down with the symptoms of Covid. I would spread it on toast with orange marmilade. Lucky so far.

How bout this study. Livestock ivermectin given to very sick loved one cause the doc said “this provider does not prescribe therapeutics. If your blood oxygen level drops go to the er”
Said ,over one felt much better within one hour. Cured totally the next morning
