What if the media did its job? Believe it or not, much of the problems we face as a nation today would go away because those accountable would be held accountable by the media.
The media has one job and that is to report the facts, not make up their own.

The citizens hold those accountable who need held accountable. The citizens failed way more miserably in holding elected officials accountable than the media failed to report the news.
