I never cared about that crap when I was a kid and no other kid around me ever said anything at any Christmas about wanting to talk to the president about Santa. I see no hard evidence this is a big deal at all to any kid.
No, none at all. The whole "NORAD Santa tracker" is pretty trite at this point anyhow.
