Mandates are not the issue. The issue is if Trump is right and the vaccines are safe, effective and save lives or are the vaccines, as many here argue, ineffective or even potentially harmful or deadly.

Sorry, there’s no way to spin this as anything but a well-earned PR disaster for Trump.
He already had COVID, which makes getting the shot plain old stupid. There’s no rationalizing it without having drunk the “vaccine” Kool-Aid.
Moreover, there’s plenty of evidence these shots are both defective and dangerous. Last thing Trump should be doing is giving the fear campaign a boost.
I will vote for Trump again if he runs, but I will not get the not-a-vax and I will not vote for Assistant Democrats that he endorses.

This guy has nothing interesting to say, he’s just another video personality fishing for money and support. Yes like many I’m disappointed with Trump over this, and I don’t need this irrelevant character telling me how I’m supposed to think about it. I’ve come to my own conclusion that DeSantis is my choice now.

Everyday we do things, not by choice, but because the action is mandated. We go along with them because they are for our greater good. Like wearing seatbelts. It’s a Darwin Award seeker who chooses not to wear a seat belt.
The question is if vaccines are effective and save lives like Trump says they are. If so, then there really isn’t any logical reason to oppose getting one. However, if the vaccines are ineffective or even dangerous as many here claim them to be, then not getting the shots and opposing any mandates would be the wise course of action.

Well there’s a nuanced differences between the two. I’m not really expecting ANY politician to come out directly against the vaxx, including Rand Paul who I’m sure is well aware of its dangers and inefficiency. But DeSantis did the next best thing, facing the media wrath and coming out strongly against the lockdowns and mandate.

Considering I don’t think I’ve seen you engage in even 3 seconds of Christian apologetics on this website despite my years of reading it (and engaging in it too), I doubt you’re such a holy roller you care what Styx’s religion actually is.

I have. He’s very interesting and very smart and could probably debate the ass off his critics here while sound asleep. If Trump wanted to diffuse the very valid criticism of his remarks he should give his justification of FDA needing 75 years to furnish Pfizer safety data.
