Looks like dingy Harry just kicked the bucket and like Bob Dole, we will all have to see all the flags at half staff for a week.
You ever think of how much time our flag is down for people corrupt people who spent their lives fleecing the American people to better themselves?
I really wish people would say screw this half staff request. My flag is going to remain flying at the top with pride.
Amen!,
I believe it was warranted for Dole, but not Reid.
People devour negativity these days. They’re looking for reasons to rend garments and gnash teeth.
Most of those lowering their flags do not even know who Mr Cleanface was.
Concur. Were it not raining I’d have my flag all the way up in celebration of the death of a state criminal.
Seriously, Harry Reid is on my Champagne List and tonight a lovely bottle of 2010 Dom Perignon will be opened for a toast to Harry entering into an eternity of torment.
No joke: I’m glad he’s dead and he made the USA a better place by dying. The only sad thing is that he didn’t die decades ago.
Flags being lowered for Whitney Houston killed the meaning for me. I don’t lower my flag any more, although I almost did for Rush.
They do it for crappy singers and ‘musicians’ too.
Should get a bigger flag and raise it twice as high whenever these (*)s die.
I’m of the opinion that the flag should never be flown at half-staff. We are a republic. But for some reason we try to elevate our public servants to royal status.
He will, no doubt, be honored in the rotunda at the Congress. However, he is one who does not deserve to be so honored. Dingy Harry in his professional life was as crooked as a snake. Hopefully he made peace with his Maker before taking his last breath. Otherwise, things may not be going well for the ol’ boy.
“My flag is going to remain flying at the top with pride.”
Upside down or black, I hope.
I stopped flying mine altogether the night of the ‘election’ and haven’t yet found a non-Chinese source for black flags.
It’s a voluntary rule..................
Agreed.
We shouldn’t use honorific titles beyond the obviously descriptive either—in or out of office.
I agree, Dole deserved the honor.
Harry finally made his greatest contribution to the country.
I hope Harry is “down there” preparing for Nazzi’s welcoming ceremony -— with quarter-staff flags at the ready
I agree!
