I have a Cannondale Lefty equipped bike.
Below is a link to the actual bike I bought:

I’ve made a lot of improvements to the bike since I bought it. But I thought I got a fantastic deal on it.
I’m not an engineer but I’ll try to explain why I think it’s so good.
On a typical narrow tube shock fork the springs and fluids are small because they are in a very tight space. On a big tube Lefty fork, the mechanics can be much larger and more efficient, making it much smoother. It is larger like a motorcycle shock, but since the bike is much lighter than a motorcycle you only need one.
My son has a $400 small tube Manitou fork on his mountain frame. Going over bumps you can literally feel the springs dragging on the inside of the tubes. My Lefty fork feels almost like an air shock inflating and deflating as I hit bumps. It is much much smoother.
My favorite bike - one of the original dual suspension GT mountain bikes.

OH ! Gotcha.
I thought this was some sort of wheel quick change thing.
Thank you for the info!
