How ironic would it be if leftists start a book burning club?
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become persona non grata to progressives. Which is, truthfully, a remarkably easy feat. He started irritating them around a year ago when he criticized politicians who didn’t obey their own COVID-19 mandates. More recently he deplored the “woke mob” and “cancel culture.”
The woke mob became truly apoplectic when Rodgers wasn’t clear about his vaccination status and then spoke with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, subsequently saying he had availed himself of the same COVID-19 treatment Rogan claimed to have used successfully. You know, the so-called “horse de-wormer.” Which is not a Dr. Fauci-approved “vaccine.” (Of course, the COVID vaccines aren’t really “vaccines,” either, but that’s another story. Nothing to see there.) Due to the aforementioned indiscretions, Rodgers came off as someone the left detests most, a free thinker. Ergo, he was The Enemy.
To top it all off, Rodgers was a guest on Monday Night Football's "ManningCast" during which the hosts--ex-NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and his brother Eli -- discuss the game at hand and other matters. Rodgers was asked what he likes to read. He first told the Manning brothers that he reads "a lot of French poetry" before pointing to a bookshelf behind him and noting that he had Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand over here."

Ayn Rand really captured the insanity of the left and how it destroys thee economy in Atlas Shrugged. Maybe Arron Rogers will get more people to read it!!!
the left hates when they are exposed.
There is absolutely no irony in that. It is to be expected. The Leftists are the only people who ever want to burn books. I hope they aren't trying to imply that the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany was right-wing?
Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged - Kevin Sorbo (movie) - Aaron Rodgers

If science can't be questioned it's not
science anymore, it's propaganda.
Aaron Rodgers
I suspect his reference to “French poetry” was a subtle allusion to “Groundhog Day”, where Bill Murray (Phil) used it to get closer to Ande McDowell’s character. If so, it was very subtle, very tongue in cheek and brilliant. “I’m saying what they’d want to hear, but I don’t really mean it.”
I wonder if Big Ben reads Ayn Rand ;)
Page 97. Francisco tells James Taggart in the most subtle way to spare his listeners with his opinions.
Then there was the party scene where he captures the moment explaining things. Had to be 10 pages worth.
The train wreck?
How many pages did she write to vividly explain how everyone managed to pass the buck on the safety issue which led to the death of was it 360 passengers?
As Obama would say-a teachable moment.
” I hope they aren’t trying to imply that the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany was right-wing?”
Sounds like it. You’d think The American Thinker would know better.
Those who criticize Atlas Shrugged are exactly the targets of the book.
I caught that too - he's a subtly funny dude.
Then points to Atlas Shrugged - sweet!
I see that often and it bothers me. Things like "Far Right Neo NAZIS"

I have always regarded him as a great quarterback, even if he came across as a bit of a prickly douchebag on a personal level.
That has all changed now.
I regard this man as a patriot now for standing up to these tyrants and putting his finger in their eyes.
Good for you, Mr. Aaron Rogers. You have a fan that will root for you now.
This is amazing satire, since the Left has done exactly this for 20 years.
Anyone who would appear on the same television screen with those people and turn to specifically point out "Atlas Shrugged" has shown me he understands and that he is on our side as Americans.
This surprises me. Aaron Rodgers, who played at Berkeley has always struck me as pretty woke.
In defense of his detractors, NFL players are not particularly known for reading.
Makes it difficult for a Bears fan to detest Aaron Rogers.
