Are they all owned by Pakistanis in Texas also? Our local DQ owner never washes his hands, does not wear plastic gloves, and handles bananas with his bare hands. I’m shocked that it is still in business as I hardly ever see a car in their parking lot.

Rusty, I seem to remember you having a very Texas-style DQ memory...

Yep, the same state where they found fecal matter in McDonald’s ice machine where they make their ice cream. But that is what life is like behind the curtain.

I haven’t found one without a Pakistani. They are as bad as 7-11’s.

20 years ago, you could get pintos with breakfast. They had everything. Kemp, TX. They opened at 5 am. Miss those days.

IMO, DQ gave one kiddo E.coli from the steak finger meal and our other kiddo tripped on the spongy floor tiles and had to have stitches.

DQ’s chicken fried steak used to be so awesome. Real steak battered and deep fried. Now, all they have is some sort of pressed meat, steak fingers.

What a fun memory!
"Dairy Queen celebrates 75 years in Texas, asks customers to share favorite DQ memories" Stopping at the DQ in Anson while on our way to OKC to visit family members. It's since been closed down. Not sure why...it was a very popular place to hang out there in that small town. |
