Before I retired, during my “career” in several departments, there always seemed to be a woman who rose high in the organization (in terms of pay) but didn’t seem to have any clearly defined role or responsibilities. These women were usually “friends” of one of the upper-level male managers.
so, where’s the downside here?
Roles will just reverse.
Barter systems make happy customers.
Everyone wins.
Hollywood bosses have benefitted for years, making it an art.
“ Anyone that is OK with take the jab or get fired should have no problem with sleep with me or get fired.”
Great point
Yes, it’s funny to read articles like this and have certain faces from over the years come to mind…
Every single place of business I’ve ever worked at..
I have a family-run company. I also sleep with one of my top assistants. She definitely gets a say in compensation and running the company.
Of course, I am married to her as well.
The other employees don’t like it. But I tell them, I don’t care - they need to listen to their boss, who is also their mother.
Maybe I’m naive, but this seems excessively high.
Pat Benatar says stop that.
37 percent got promoted for it
and the other 63 percent didn’t perform adequately?
Must have missed these articles during the Trump years???
These types of studies brings me to a couple of conclusions, based on my friends (female and male) and my own experiences.
Some women are naturally attracted to men in charge. It’s a restructuring of the desire for an alpha, in a world where betas are celebrated. Furthermore, between driving and work, a lot of times you spend more time M-F with coworkers, as opposed to significant others. So there is room for attraction and relationships to grow.
Not all men can resist the advances of an attractive woman, especially if they spend a lot of time together. The reverse is definitely not true 😀
The latter makes me think of an episode of Big Bang Theory. Leonard sleeps with a girl right after breaking up with Penny. At the end of the episode he says “I need to explain myself. She let me do it”. That pretty much sums up a lot of men.
Keep your hopes up, Brandon. There’s still a 15% chance that you will get lucky.
A lot of women want to climb the ladder that way.
Beat you by 9 seconds! HAH!
Heck, that’s even Old Testament stuff...
lol
One of the 63% who claim that did not sleep with the boss:)
