I thought the women at CNN were angry, and felt that woman should be fired for having a unfair advantage.

With the CNN staff & Zucker’s supporters saying “what’s the big deal?”
There’s obviously more, and his resignation is part of damage control operation. Feminism is cultural poison.

there always seemed to be a woman who rose high in the organization (in terms of pay) but didn’t seem to have any clearly defined role or responsibilities. These women were usually “friends” of one of the upper-level male managers. I worked for a company in Brazil, where the GM in Sao Paolo had an executive secretary, who was also his mistress. I learned she was actually the mistress to the previous GM as well. To their credit the relationship wasn't obvious at first, and she was very smart, professional - and smokin' hot as well. If she was included as part of the compensation package, it would be difficult to turn down
I didn't get deeply into office politics there, but Brazilians told me such arrangements were quite common.

Very misleading headline!
“15% of women at the director level or above” does not equal 15% of women.

This is what the sexual harassment laws were about, before they morphed into draconian speech code law designed to entrap just about every male.

My girlfriend is from the Philippines and says this sort of thing is rampant there. In the Philippines, the "casting couch" concept isn't limited to the entertainment industry.
