Spain had to deal with this so they has Franco. Then Chile so Pincohet did the same thing. If we fail to do that, we will slowly become like Venezuela. Preferable outcome? Mexico. Everyone is so corrupt that nothing’s get done so status quo rules the day.

There are really three different groups of these leftists to deal with.
1. The drunk-on-power Zealots.
2. The Party-Loyalists.
3. The Mal-informed.
Group 2 is the only one made up of the bat-s#!t crazy squirrel nuts.
Group 1 is pure EVIL and knows it, but are doing everything possible to maintain their power.
Group 3 is made up of the cadres that get their information only from NPR and CNN and the groupies in their shrinking circle. They are not mis-informed, they are mal-informed. Their leaders in Group 1, are intentionally feeding them lies. The lies are amplified by the crazies in group 2. The Group 3 minions simply don’t know the difference. There may be hope for some of them with sustained facts.
Group 1 is hopeless. They must be convicted of their crimes. Group 2 is also hopeless. Mental institutions will need to be restarted. Group 3 needs to become informed.

My son an I have had this discussion. It used to be that the left/right would agree on goals but not the policies of how to reach those goals. That is no longer the case, we can’t even agree on goals. The left have become enemies of Christianity and any doctrine of a civil society. Their ideas have crossed into the land of delusion while they believe they should be able to force us to conform, otherwise there should be consequences, even criminal ones. You can’t just ‘be tolerant’ now, you must be an ‘ally’ - otherwise you’re a bigot, racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynistic, transphobic, ... horrible human being. The smear salad never ends.
These are childish and juvenile people, while being arrogant narcissists - a combination that is impossible to reason with. We can’t have a discussion because the topics are a non-starter, they aren’t dignified enough to even consider discussing.
At our company we have have many offices across the globe. Guess what February is in the UK - LGBT MONTH. Guess what June is in the USA - LGBT MONTH, where October is also LGBT HISTORY MONTH. So 1/4 of the year is LGBT, while veterans get a single day. Interestingly the February one clashes with Black History Month and the LGBT narrative went quiet - I suppose the intersectionality battle has to be sorted out.
