Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his brother are under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for possibly violating insider trading rules, according to media reports. The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed people familiar with the probe, said the investor watchdog agency is looking into sales of Tesla shares by Kimbal Musk, a member of the Tesla board, just before his brother, Elon, announced on Twitter that he would sell 10% of his own Tesla holdings, a move that sent Tesla (TSLA) shares sharply lower in the days that followed.

Elon sent a Tweet supporting the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy, and other politically-incorrect crimespeak. So, his Boca Chica launch site approval has been delayed indefinitely, and he is investigated for doing what members of Congress do every day (insider trading).

Uh, Senator Warren ordered Musk to sell shares so he could pay tax. He very publicly did exactly what she told him to do. Moreover, that the sale was like to happen was public knowledge - she announced it, and so any trader watching the news could have taken the opportunity to get ahead of Musk and sell. That they were damaged by not acting on pubic information is their fault not either of the Musks.
Also, I think we are all aware that events have conspired against stock prices generally - again public information that all traders could have acted upon.

Musk has been running a company that makes no money... None. GM has apparently lost it’s mind and will now take over the ‘electric’ car market and Tesla will be toast... Electric cars will continue to be a very small market that has no business even existing at this point.
Electric cars will be viable when the tech advances and batteries become cheaper... Until then, it’s a waste of money and essentially a market for rich liberals who already own several gas guzzling vehicles in their 4 car garages.
He must be silenced.
