He may end up taking Ukraine but he can’t keep it, those people will fight him forever and meantime he has destroyed precious architecture, killed unknown numbers of innocents, and made Russia look bad in the eyes of the world. Putin is not only destroying Ukraine, he’s destroying Russia.
Are you aware of what is called the Genetic Fallacy? Its where one tries to judge the validity of an argument or report based merely on irrelevant details of its delivery. For example attempting to discredit an article because one believes the person who posted it is a “Russian Troll”. Let’s assume, for the sake of argument that they are for a moment. How does that impact the story’s content? Would the story be more accurate if someone else had posted it? Rather you are trying to distract from the content it seems by creating distrust and ill will and contention. But guess what? That does not fly here. You are undermining only your own credibility and making the story seem more plausible by the sheer patheticness of your cheap shot at discrediting it.
