They were all over the news at the start of the "pandemic." My co-workers and I watched them as they were reportedly being shown "live." Then, apparently having served their purpose, they disappeared.

Yes. I'm also very tired of the virtue-signaling left who insist on still wearing masks everywhere - even if not required. Except for those elderly or immune-compromised individuals who are rightfully concerned about their personal risk if infected, the rest just project 'I'm of superior education and worldly understanding, and I follow the science'.
They might just as well be wearing tee-shirts that say "I'm with her", "I'm with Fauci", "Follow the science", "Black Lives Matter", or "Biden/Harris".
The sad reality is that they have no understanding of the 'science' they are supposedly following. They are the leftist equivalent of deadheads with a peace symbol and marijuana leaf painted on their mini-van.
I would like to see every Biotech lab in the world get smart bombed into dust, all of the Big Pharma leadership needs to be hung from the neck in public to serve as an example, starting with the WHO . Everyone playing out “event 201” should be hunted down and eliminated before they release a truly deadly pandemic

We’ve all lived with COVID for two years at this point and anyone with reasoning ability can see the reality doesn’t have anything to do with this videos.
China played The West, and/or the Powers That Be loved this theater as a way to move towards something bad re totalitarianism.
