Even Red Counties Aren’t Safe From Woke Indoctrination
American Greatness ^ | 7 Apr, 2022 | Paul Bradford

The “diversity and inclusion” agenda pushed by professional left-wing firms is just critical race theory by a more appealing name.

Most conservatives are aware of the dangers lurking in public schools now. Thanks to the work of people like Christopher Rufo and the LibsofTikTok Twitter account, we now see the insidious ideas left-wing educators want to teach kids. The schools that receive the most attention for indoctrinating kids are usually in your typical blue areas: New York City, Portland, San Francisco, etc.

What gets less attention is the subversion going on in solid red counties. Yes, even schools in areas where most parents are Trump voters are affected by critical race theory.

Example: Williamson County, Tennessee.

This Nashville suburb went 62 percent for Trump in 2020. Republicans always easily win elections in the county. From 1998 to 2018, Democrats didn’t bother to compete for county commission seats. (Republicans still won every seat in the most recent year Democrats decided to compete). The county even still boasts a Confederate flag in its official seal.

Nevertheless, the county school board is committed to “diversity and inclusion” programs. Diversity and inclusion are common euphemisms for what conservatives would recognize as critical race theory. A recent report from the Nashville Tennessean said the board was fully committed to the concept. The article was vague about what the board actually hopes to implement in its allegiance to diversity, outside of an anti-bullying initiative.

The story did allude to the county last year hiring a “diversity and inclusion” firm to look at its policies and recommend changes. The firm recommended the county overhaul its curriculum, disciplinary policies, and work with local left-wing groups to achieve progress. The school agreed to implement some of these recommendations, mainly those involving curricula.

The left refuses to quit poking the parents. The homeschooled children will be the only ones reaching adulthood without warped thinking.

What about all those so-called “good” teachers that implement this evil?

Personally....I shun government teachers.

Vigilance plus the embrace of Natural Law Theory (the built-in right and wrong of things) over and above the positive law in its current state.

The mother’s milk of federal and state funding always come with strings attached. Until your local school district weans itself from the government teat, parental control of schools is just an illusion.

I learned this week that even elite foreign schools sponsored by US State Dept have invoked an extreme woke ideology including how to address students with proper pronouns and promoting a homosexual agenda! There are no ends to this madness.

Republicans hold 28 governorships, 61 state house chambers vs 36 for Democraps, and 23 Trifectas (states with both chambers and governor) vs 13 for the Democraps.

Not a single Republirat state has taken any measure to protect free speech and fight woke racism in their universities.

The Republirats are OWNED by the teachers same as the Democraps.

Your local elected Republirat HAS SOLD YOU OUT. Deal with it.

There's a much more practical explanation.
Until very recently for most people and GOP\conservative politicians the school board election was of very little interest. If the school board election is outside the normal election cycle few bother to show up to vote. If its part of the normal election cycle people are to anxious to get out of the poll and go home to take it seriously. Two other contributing reasons. If your children have grown and are outside the K12 system you no longer care, if you don't have children you also don't care. There is also the matter that until recently teachers were trusted and the phrase ;“It's for the children" was magical!!! - particularly for suburban women. Another factor, school board elections are usually officially “nonpartisan” and people until recently believed that! Now people have discovered that the hard core left has captured the school boards. What can be done?

1. Challenge the existing boards at meetings publicly. Be careful to not get arrested,

2. Vote out every existing board member first chance you get.

3. If porn is discovered in the school library or as part of the curriculum take it to the police, file a complaint and demand action. Swear out a complaint of porn distribution to minors charging everyone who signed off on the purchase order. I few librarians & principals marched off to jail and this will stop! DO NOT TAKE IT TO THE SCHOOL Authorities!

4. In school board election not only vote out incumbents, but vote against any candidate who is endorsed by the educrat establishment i.e., NEA or state EA endorsement.
Vote against any with education degrees or past teaching experience.

6. Item 4 also applies to state legislators who run as “for the Children” supporters.

6. Run for the board & de-unionized the school!

We have to get rid of these school board members. In a conservative area like the one in the article, the parents should be able to run them off without having to wait for an election. It requires being loud and aggressive. Are your kids worth it?

Until recently School boards were like bond elections very boring ! Always vote no on EVERY bond elections including school bonds! Think TEA - Taxed Enough Already!

7. In many states the school superintendents are among the highest paid officials in the state. Why? Certainly not due to performance, with scores & standards crashing They ALL over the country oversee spending more to produce less! They're just another state or county bureaucrat overseeing tax money & policy, There is nothing in their skill sets that demand such special pay scales. They should paid in line with any other state or county bureaucrat!

Re: “6. Run for the board & de-unionized the school! “

Also.....Work to have vouchers, charter schools, and complete separation of **sports** and school.

Many families support the government indoctrination camps because the schools have a monopoly on sports, band, orchestra, theater, and other activities.

It is time to shun government teachers. None of this evil could move forward without the cooperation of government teachers.

Teachers ***willing*** take these jobs ***knowing*** that these schools hurt children. They do it for money.

Please remember that millions of Americans work in jobs that actually**help** children. Teachers could, too, but willingly choose not to do so.

One of the problems is that the teachers have been indoctrinated with this same crap. Most of the younger ones believe in it.
