Jimmy Savile was one of the United Kingdom’s most beloved TV personalities. Shortly after his death in 2011, an investigation prompted more than 450 horrific allegations of sexual assault and abuse, with victims as young as 5.

The documentary examines, through extensive archive footage, the evil within Jimmy and delves into how he managed to fool an entire nation for four decades.

This is a long, slow-moving documentary that does not go into much detail at all about what Jimmy actually did, criminally.

Other sources are needed to find out how prolific his sex crimes were, though because he was never brought to trial or arrested in his lifetime, it is hard to know whet went on exactly.

On the whole Savile was a man who ‘hid in plain sight,’ who was known as a serial abuser and creep to those close to him and his work but whose philanthropic acts made him invulnerable to close police scrutiny.

Typical of left-wing Netflix, the piece goes into great detail about every tie he had or might possibly have had with Margaret Thatcher. To be fair, he also had contact with the “Royals.”

Creep, abuser, groomer, rapist, national hero...

He’s sort of like all that is wrong with the American Left, all rolled into one middle-aged white guy, except he never committed murder.

Watched it. Not convinced.
Production found it necessary to have a low eerie music bed while making a negative point. Unnecessary and distracting.

I've seen several documentaries on this clown...all produced by British networks (which, obviously, makes sense. Just watching the guy from is earliest days of fame (some pop music show in the mid 60's) it was obvious that he was weird...weird...weird. However,it never would have occurred to me that he was a child molester.

There was one video clip I saw from one of those pop music type shows he did where, while surrounded by a bunch of giddy teenage girls (I'd say mid teens) it appeared as if he goosed the one that was right next to him.

“...They allegedly sat on it for years...”

What I have always found darkly comical is the fact that the ONLY one who had the balls to publicly call out Saville for his behaviour, back in the day, was Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols. The Beeb just about shat a brick, when Johnny talked about: “that cigar-muncher” in an interview.

After Biden dies, the media will be shocked by his “horrific escapades”. They will probably blame Fox and Trump for hiding Biden’s crimes against children.

“...except he never committed murder”

There’s been many disturbing stories about “boat expeditions” that involved young boys...where the boys don’t come back. All hearsay of course but what we do know is that many people knew about his perversions, they said nothing and allowed it. So you have to wonder just how bad it was and what we’ll never know. That the BBC refuses to talk down a statue made by a pedophile talks volumes.

It’s becoming an open secret, the leftist embracement of all sexual appetites must include children, they have no morality for it not to. Considering the problems the BBC have had, along with others like CNN which seem to have a weekly sex scandal, you have to wonder about everything that’s been said over the years - including many at the highest levels of political power....the Obama’s being at the top.

It seems Johnny Rotten is one of the most honest people around, not just on this topic either...who’d have thought?

The police can’t act if victims do not inform them.

There was very little an individual child-victim could do, when they were up against the establishment.

It's no accident that the establishment waited until he was beyond justice - and unable to incriminate anyone else - before acknowledging what he had done.

“...except he never committed murder”

I've not seen evidence he committed murder
But some of his young victims committed suicide they were so ashamed at what he did to them.

When the police were struggling with the Yorkshire Ripper case they interviewed Saville. Not that they had anything on him in that case of course, but they had to check him out nevertheless, and you can imagine their conversation with him ...

He molested children in hospitals. Some of the children reported it to hospital staff, who shut them up, accused them of lying, shamed them. Hard to go to the police after that, especially in an age when people did not talk about such things, did not acknowledge the problem existed.

Yes - the documentary does give a good background on his show business career but details on his crimes were slim beyond the fact that he was picking up under aged girls from what was essentially a girls reform school.

I suspect that the BBC has such influence they deliberately downplayed the BBC’s role in enabling his crimes.

Not only did Johnny Rotten call Savile out in public, he did it way back in *1978*, like a full generation before anybody did anything serious about that scandal.

If the BBC was a private company, they would have been sued out of existence.
