PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. – A South Florida couple is back home from a cruise vacation and they are issuing a warning. They said they were shocked when they found themselves in the middle of a COVID-19 outbreak.
Still, there is no official word from Celebrity Cruise Lines, which is why the couple wanted to share their story with Local 10 News.

Somewhere along the line we are going to have to accept these covid outbreaks like the common cold an get along with our lives. (or deaths)
Being fully vaccinated isn't going to save us. -Tom
Since everyone who goes on a cruise these days is expected to be vaccinated, boosted and in the very near future tested... this demonstrates just how worthless the “vaccines” have now become. They never were the answer.
“I’m wondering how you can possibly get COVID-19 on a ship that’s supposedly 100 percent vaccinated,”
It does nothing to stop you catching the current strains.
You may be more likely to contract it if you are jabbed, if it has been some time since your jab
These people were “careful” for 2 1/2 years and then went on a cruise. Going on a cruise has always been swimming in a petri dish of all sorts of stuff.
Don’t get me wrong…I loved the cruises I went on. But most people understand your system is going to be under assault the entire time.
The “shock” of getting sick on a cruise is kind of amusing.
“Being fully vaccinated isn’t going to save us. -Tom”
Nothing in this imperfect world is going to save you except Jesus Christ.
Double faxed and double boosted!! Good grief...Maybe THEY are the SUPER spreaders!
It's almost like the propagandists [Big Quack and Big Government] who were making billions off the quaxxcines were lying to us...
They can’t let you accept these covid outbreaks like the common cold. That wasn’t in the plan.
You already ha e to be tested to get on ,
What is the appeal of being crammed on a boat with 1000’s of other people for a ‘vacation’?
AMEN.
Because the vaccination doesn't prevent catching COVID, duh.
Cruise Ships were a dicey petri dish of disease well before COVID, so germaphobes shouldn't go on cruises anyway.
Some people choose not to enjoy life or help others because they are scared of death. That is a poor choice.
That's the conclusion I have come too.
We have got to get on with our lives, and let the chips fall where they may. -Tom
Getting away from the rat race, and just enjoying being waited on hand and foot for a week or so, and enjoying good shows, and gsmb.ing if ghst is your thing, or just meeting new people while rrlaxing..
Not my idea of a good time, but to some it is I guess. Plus they get to see places they haven’t seen before, a d experience different cultures etc. Some cruises have extensive outings at different ports.
Speaking of cruises, I haven’t seen our own Horatio Nelson in a while.
They should just make everyone on the cruise wear masks too. /s
Cruise lines are now accepting a doctor's "proof of recovery" document to counter all of the false positives from the tests.
The only thing they are not allowing is unvaccinated adults, but everything else now has a workaround to excuse the potential violations in policy that would normally prevent boarding.

“What is the appeal of being crammed on a boat with 1000’s of other people for a ‘vacation’?”
Different strokes for different folks.
What is the appeal of football games? Torture to me.
What is the appeal of jazz? Torture to me.
I love cruises, but haven’t been on one since Feb. 2020 in the Panama Canal (while Diamond Princess was docked for weeks/months in Japan). Interesting 7-day cruise. Rush announced he had cancer. Pelosi ripped up the SOTU speech. I would LOVE to go again, but won’t get a clot shot, and won’t even get a test with a swab up the nose with who-knows-what embedded in it.
