Europe would be a very different place if England once again became its own, independent country. Everyone would be quickly reminded that the English are the descendants of Germanic raiders and Vikings.

Lovely. I am 1/16 English, but my ancestors came from the eastern part of England, Lincolshire.
I watched a bit of the clip of the parade.
Next year, they should get a marching band.
Correction: I am 1/8 English.
