We are in a very dangerous moment, as Democrat politicians are looking at the conflict in Ukraine for political salvation. In the face of disastrous polling on Biden’s presidency and the direction of the country under Democrats, there is one shining issue qwhere they think they see an opportunity. Via Politico’s Playbook:
— The latest WaPo/ABC News poll on the U.S. response to Russia’s war in Ukraine has some good news for the White House: “The findings suggest that Biden’s policies largely reflect Americans’ preferences when it comes to the Russian invasion,” write WaPo’s Ashley Parker, Emily Guskin and Scott Clement. The toplines:
“In all, 73 percent say the United States is doing either the right amount or too little to support Ukraine.”
“72 percent oppose the U.S. taking direct military action against Russian forces, while 21 percent support the idea.”
“Even among those who say the United States is doing too little to support Ukraine, 57 percent oppose direct military action.”

The US left has been involved in manipulations in Ukraine for a long time. They were behind the color revolutions in 2004 and again in 2014. They tried to Impeach Trump the second time for trying to clean up the corruption tied to the Biden Family. I am not a fan of Putin or Russia, but there is no news coming out of Ukraine that I trust at face value. The left seems fully behind a war with Russia and I am sure that the news out of Ukraine is manipulated to influence the US population to support our involvement. The dead people are real, no doubt about it. But I think they are just pawns in the game being played by the left.

there is not one Democrat or RINO who does not support
Biden/Romney/Pelosi/Black tunnels, trafficking,
money laundering, treason, guillotines, and fentanyl.
not one.
The problem is that they can’t really talk about the Ukraine without the concept of a border coming up. Actually, that’s just one of the problems for them with this gambit. Recent events suggest that they will go all in on abortion. We are in the 1970s.
While Putin may think he has a vital national security interest our Deep State has a vital interest as well....covering up and continuing the Ukraine corruption gravy train. It's about defending their piece of the action.

Wow!! Read your statement and it’s spot on my take on the issue.
There was an opportunity to destroy an aggressors military in the field, and stop aggression. I support that in a shape. I do not support pushing Russia to a defensive position that involves them looking for a nuclear option.
The leader right now, that could do the most good, is Donald Trump. He can talk to the Russians and to the Ukrainians. This is the worlds best hope to end this.
When the Donbas offensive fails, and it will, Trump needs to move quickly.

We are already effectively at war with Russia. Everyone sans the American people knows it. Let’s hope it does not go nuclear, but right now it sure looks like it will.
Regardless, opposing a policy because it is politically popular is a stupid political move anyway.
Dems are mistaken, nobody respects American Foreign Policy when Pelosi and Schiffty are the messengers.
