Thats all we ever used, cloth diapers. Rinse out in toilet, then into a covered bucket with bleach solution , and when accumulated, into the washer and out onto the clothes line. Have enough to do you for 3 days, and do laundry twice a week.

My family made them out of white cotton flannel material and still do. We just can’t pay 200 bucks a month or more for disposable diapers.That money goes into the bank.

I remember my mother doing the same with cloth diapers. Same production line including the bleach and (when we had one) a washing machine.

She also bleached dishcloths. Which I was surprised to learn that not everybody does - reusing dishcloths without bleaching between uses is very unhealthy.
