Assuming he’s not found insane, I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that DOJ will crucify this kid to try to get some cred on the rule of law issue and some preemptive shielding, should the next crazy not be so unlucky or unstealthy. You’re right - I lived in Simi until coming to my senses and returning home to Texas.
I lived in Simi for over 30 years, since 1979, was very conservative, normal, and a nice safe place to live and raise kids, but Rodney King changed all that. It put Simi on the map, and everyone wanted to move there all of a sudden. became way crowded for us.
we moved 10 years ago when it got too damned crowded, low income housing and petty thugs started moving in...
