A Glock 17 and two mags of ammo would alarm at an airport. So did this perp bring them from Leftafornia or purchase them when he got East? This is looking more like a set up that didn’t go wet as planned.
You can fly with a firearm in your checked baggage. Supposed to declare it but if it’s not detected....but, yes, as long as it’s checked and not carry on you’re good to go.
