“And yet there sits the foundatuon of what would have been the Marble Hill Nuclear Power plant in northeastern Clark County........nothing but waste”

It is and was a waste, but it is in Jefferson County.

I live on the Ohio River 50 miles from Indiana. Within the last five years three coal fired generating plants within 40 miles of me have been, as Obama promised, “If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them”, bankrupted. Today I pay .10 per kWh, some of the cheapest on the planet. That, along with the plentiful supplies, are soon to be New Green Dealed into oblivion.

Yeah. Baghdad had rolling blackouts/brownouts in the summers when there was extreme heat.

I used to think we were so advanced…

“Due to Democrats and the moron Greenie Republicans.”

Red state(s). The same damn thing happened in Texas last winter. Just what do you morons don’t get? There’s no excuse for this in a red state. Blame the feds and the grid all you want. Will the voters accept that excuse? Republicans are the stupid party. Tell me I’m wrong.

If you have a generator you better do a natural gas conversion as soon as possible. It’s 4 times to cheaper to run than gasoline and makes the engine last much longer. Lots of places sell the kits for just about every gen out there.
