Keeping testosterone up can prevent a lot of problems as you age. It can also cause a bunch a problems as the growth hormone can cause the wrongs stuff to grow like cancer cells.

The problems are more likely to occur if you take it. Much less so than if you take herbs and such that allow your body to continue to make it normally.
