The Atlanta Federal Reserve announced earlier this month that the second quarter of 2022 saw a GDP of minus 2.1 percent.
The historic definition of an economic recession is two quarters of negative economic growth.

The recession started on Jan 21, 2021.
As soon as Biden RAISED gas prices, everything became more expensive, and with people spending more on gas and transportation and home-heating, they were spending less on many other things, and with less spending, the recession was on...
It just took a year before the economic numbers started reflecting reality of what people were going through for most of the last 1 1/2 years. And it will continue getting worse with all previous and upcoming government spending.
The only cure is for Biden to go away and for democrats to lose control of congress.
Comrades! Do not be fooled into thinking America’s best economy ever is somehow in ‘recession’.
For one thing, leading financial experts have told us that the old ‘two consecutive quarters of negative growth’ definition is outdated and doesn’t take the nuanced and wholistic view of the great ‘Biden economy’.
And for another, just today, Joseph Robinette Biden himself, a great mind and financial genius has assured the American people that it is definitely not a recession.
Do not listen to the ‘wreckers’ who would have you doubt how well we now have it.
Oh come on now, it ain’t no lousy recession. Right Joe?
And in the interests of economy, the wrapping cardboard and all mandated (UN, federal, state and local) product content labels will be included in the total weight.
Expect the usual for democRAT bad news. The numbers released were as positive as they could make them. They will be revised down with little news coverage. The same as the 0bama years and the opposite of the Trump years when reported numbers were low and quietly revised up.
The sooner we got in, the sooner we get out. Let’s go.

I’m seriously, tremendously disappointed. Those making these decisions are totally uninformed and unimaginative.
It’s not a “recession” it is a pre-depression. Countries can come out of a recession but this is a pre-depression.
