Joe Biden's open borders policies have turned Mexico into a war zone.
Less than 20 miles away from where I'm writing this in San Diego, the next city over is exploding into some kind of Ukraine-like hellscape.
According to local station CBS8:
TIJUANA, Baja California — The United States Consulate General in Tijuana is instructing employees to shelter in place after unrest in the region began on Friday.
The U.S. consulate is warning government employees near Tijuana, Mexicali, Rosarito, Ensenada, Tecate to shelter in place until further notice due to vehicle fires, roadblocks and heavy police activity.
U.S. citizens are being told to avoid the area, seek secure shelter, and monitor local media for updates.
It must be still on the national-news radar as a local story, maybe something that happens all the time, this being Tee Jay.
But it's no local story. It's the logical consequence of Joe Biden's open borders policy, which has made control of Tijuana and all border cities worth fighting for to Mexico's brutal cartels. Apparently, three have laid claim to these cities — and they are big ones. TJ is bigger than San Diego, which is America's sixth largest city, for one, putting these cities under an unprecedented siege.
Here are some Twitter photos.

The chaos must be the plan.
Here come the Refreebees! OLE!
People have to stay home...it’s too dangerous to go outside. Three cartels at war. This is terrible for the people there and I blame Brandon.
Brandon, yes, but also America’s drug addiction.
Ruthless crack down on drug dealers is needed...they should be publicly hung from lampposts.
That should probably be the place things start. The fentynal will come in handy.
I grew up in San Diego and I used to enjoy taking guests to Tijuana to shop for folk art items and such. It was safe enough. There are a lot of regular working people there that do not deserve this horror.
“Brandon, yes, but also America’s drug addiction.”
You mean the DEMOCRATS drug addiction.
Coming soon in Democrat cities near you!
The also travel in small groups usually 5 or so and there is an obvious group leader within each cell.
This is a damn invasion and the libtards are going to get a lot of us killed.
They need to get the Mexican Marines involved again. Ask for US training, double their budget, relentlessly recruit with higher standards, and take the gloves off.
Why were the Marines so effective before? Simple. They are based in areas of no interest to the cartels, so there were not penetrated. Also, the Marines were looking for a mission to stand out from the other services because they have such a small budget and a small national security mission.
Agree. Most people in Mexico are just trying to survive, working their tails off for peanuts wages. Honest hard-working normal people making agricultural products and car parts. I frequent Guadalajara and always appreciate the general populace going about their daily business of keeping the wolves away. Just like us.
This will jump the border. Always carry. Always.
SS1
I live less than 40 miles from the border.
At this point in time, I personally fear the American Government more than I fear the cartels.
I have not been thinking of the military of Mexico. From things I have heard Obrador (AMLO) is a little too friendly with the cartels. ( $ )
Coming to a town you live in or near.
I lived in LA and enjoyed a few trips to TJ every year with my husband. Bright guy, figured out how to win betting on jai alai. And where and what to eat so I wouldn’t get sick. Bought some beautiful leather goods there too in very nice little shops.
So horribly sad what that formerly nice town has become.
Tijuana is a real big city not the scruffy border town of the 40’s, tall buildings and interstate style highways, This reads like some dystopian motion picture script and does represent serious governmental destabilization.
When the drugs run out here things will really heat up in “El Norte”.
Do American tourists still go to Acapulco?
