Žarko Pejanović, champion of Montenegro in lying down The 12th lying down competition, traditionally organized by the Ethno village of Montenegro in Brezni, has ended. The title of the most relaxed was won by Žarko Pejanović, known as "Knele" from Zabjela.

After approximately 60 hours of lying down, the title of the biggest champion in lying down goes to Zabjelo! Of the nine contestants who took part in this year's competition, the finalists Žarko Pejanović from Zabjela and Vuk Koljenšić from Danilovgrad fought for the title.

As it was previously unofficially announced, there were negotiations on the division of the title, but Pejanović was determined to bring the first place to Zabjelo.

"It wasn't difficult. Believe me, I didn't even warm up," he says for the Glas Zabjela portal.

However, the biggest problem is when they visit the contestants to show their support. The hardest thing, he says, is "when the family comes to support you, that's the biggest mistake".

"When company comes, it's fun, but the biggest mistake is when someone's family comes. When someone's family comes, it's hard not to get up," said Pejanović.

He said after winning the competition: "It wasn't difficult, I didn't even warm up."

Zarko Pejanovic's advice to anybody wanting to become a lying down champion: "Don't bring your family along to support you. That's the biggest mistake."

He said after winning the competition: “It wasn’t difficult, I didn’t even warm up.”

That is just perfect.

This could be a potential Olympic sport.

I think it already is in all the Balkan countries, along with their other endurance activity; hours sitting in a chair at a sidewalk cafe.

This sounds like something I’d be good at, if I didn’t have to get up every 2 hours to pee.

I feel your pain brother. I’m 77 years old and haven’t had an uninterrupted night’s sleep in at least 30 years.

Now if you will, excuse me while I go pee.

They are allowed to get up for a call of nature break once every eight hours.
