Ignore the trash talk: Republicans can and will win this November
Washington Examiner ^ | 29 Aug, 2022 | Herschel Walker

Posted on 09/01/2022 5:56:05 AM PDT by MtnClimber

Trash talk is common in sports. Whether it’s lighthearted or nasty, the purpose is the same: to intimidate your opponent and make them lose focus and feel less confident in their ability to win.

Democrats and their friends in the media are engaging in their own form of trash talk when it comes to the midterm elections. They wave around some meaningless poll or quote an “expert” who would have us believe that Republican Senate candidates are weak, President Joe Biden has had some great successes, the Democrats’ fundraising numbers give them a huge advantage, and Republicans can’t possibly win back the Senate.

None of this is true. It’s nothing more than an intimidation tactic designed to scare conservative donors away, suppress Republican enthusiasm, and discourage Republican candidates and voters.

To my fellow colleagues, don’t fall for it. Primary voters chose us, not because we look and sound like slick politicians but because we are not politicians. That will be an asset in the general election since the politicians in charge have made such a terrible mess.

As for Biden’s “success,” the only thing he and the Democrats have been successful at is making us unsafe, weak, woke, and broke. Democrats and the media can try to spin all they want, but it won’t work. People know the truth. They feel the truth in their wallets every single day.

Are Democrats raising a lot of money? Sure. Much of it is coming from out of state. But my opponent’s out-of-state donors can’t vote in Georgia. I’ll take votes over dollars any day.

I have never backed down from a fight, and neither should you. There is too much at stake. I’m sure you are hearing and seeing the same things on the campaign trail that I am:

I sure hope the citizens of Georgia can vote out that Marxist Warnock.

BIDUNG was in hiding during midsummer, strictly isolating because he had COVID.

This removed him from the public eye for weeks.

It is remarkable how much better he looks when you can’t see him.

Bidung is only now restarting his delayed midterm election tour.
<><>it’s going to get worse
<><>will do him less good than his usual
<><>removing himself entirely from voter scrutiny.

Forget the action figure
<><>Biden is no hero, but he does have a “superpower”
<><> invisibility.
<><> being an empty suit has taken him to the top.
<><>His absence made voters’ hearts grow fonder in 2020.
<><>He “won” the presidency, by retiring to his Delaware basement, avoiding the public gaze,
<><>and limiting his visible weirdness and blunders to occasional video appearances
<><>and keeping Hunter drugged up.

Yes...but only if conservatives pull their heads out of their you know what and realize this will be a dogfight and will not be a blowout in any way shape or form unless we make it one...cannot put our feet up on the desk and think that “inflation” is going to win us anything. We can have a very good election night (meaning keep all our senators and pick off a few of theirs, get the house and take a few governorships).

Also...there are too many people that won’t vote for their candidate because they are not conservative enough. This is very idiotic and should be discouraged at any cost!

We are not talking primaries, we are talking the general election in November. And votes will vote their pocketbooks. People's retirement 401k's and 403b's have dropped 25%, meaning in normal markets it will take 10 years of 8% growth to make that up, that's major. Not to mention fuel oil fillups in October will be expensive. Not to mention grocery store prices.

At most, it looks like the Dhimmicraps may chip at the margins of the red wave. For example, I heard one person who had been projecting the House as 234 Republicans to 201 DemoKKKrats move that projection to 230-205.

But we’re still two months away from the election and anything can happen.

It’s true that so far, the DemoKKKrats have raised more money than the Republicans. It is an advantage, but not a huge one. It might tip a few marginal seats, but it probably won’t affect the overall results.

The trend line is moving in Walker’s direction (and that of Republicans in general.)

It can be a blowout for the Republicans — if we get out and do the work.

There is a point at which the candidate is liberal enough to be unacceptable. No conservative could in good conscience have voted for the Nelson Rockefeller types. There are still a couple of those.

If we keep voting for RINOs, they will conclude that they don’t have to do anything to earn our votes except not be Democrats.

I’d agree with you on folks like Romney. I’m specifically referring to Oz in PA. Trump backed him from say one and trusts him. Trump is very well liked on this site. No reason to not vote Oz and let Fetterman in...that would be a travesty!
