I've ben trying real hard to put myself in side the head of a typical democrat. There has to be something going for the party if they can get 60 million(plus 20 million added) to vote for them. So I've put myself in the shoes of a typical democrat (probably something like a suburban millenial or intercity minority). Here is what I believe and why I love Biden so much. I believe it is better to import oil at high prices rather than use our own oil. I believe I want the right to kill my babies up until birth. I believe there are more than 61 genders and children have the right to change their gender (surgery included) at any time they want. I believe the best way to reduce inflation is to spend more debt money on projects that don't work anyway. I believe anyone who believes in the Constitution or any policies of Donald Trump are enemies of the state. I believe the FBI, CIA,and IRS are enforcement wings of the democratic party. I believe anyone should be able to cross our border at any time for any reason as long as they don't come to my state and promise to vote democratic when given their free phone and ID card.I believe the earth has only 8 years to survive and everyone should be forced to buy 70,000 dollar electric cars. (please park them in time of energy shortages). I believe the record artic icepack and the lack of hurricanes this year are caused by republicans who want to thwart my climate agenda. I believe the few January 6th crazies are a far worse threat to our country(notice I didn't say republic) than the burning down of 200 cities. I believe all police are bad and should be defunded and all prisoners should be paroled. These are just a few of the things I believe in as a newfound democrat. I'm sure there are a lot m ore and I will get back to you as soon as I consult my Kenyan advisor Obama.

Right. And that’s what infuriates me about the ‘Legacy Democrats’ I mentioned in my post #18. I know many of those folks. They vote D thinking that the Democrat Party is still the party of patriots like Truman and JFK.
It’s not, and hasn’t been for a generation. It’s now the party of old bureaucrats (Biden, Pelosi, etc.) and communists (Sanders, AOC, etc.). And the communists are in the ascendancy.
You forgot “mean tweets”. DJT is trying to hijack our democracy. DJT is a grifter. And this one I heard personally from my sister “Trump supporters shouted Hang Mike Pence” and Trump said nothing.
I think for a lot of these people it’s about hating Trump...despite his actual wonderful record of accomplishment. I guess they thought the old $hit could just keep everything the same but act in a way they thought was nicer.
The lines between those groups aren’t so clear. Some people literally vote Democrat because their parents and grandparents did. Other people are part of a group in which everybody votes Democrat. Some people have one issue or identity that they care about intensely. They know they aren’t personally going to hold power, though. Maybe you could call them “brainwashed,” but I think a lot of it is just tribal, “them versus us.”
People who wanted to vote for Biden did so because they have been convinced that “rich white men” stole it all and Biden will give something back to them. They really don’t think any deeper.

I think Democrat voters are simply low IQ people, devoid of common sense, slaves to authority, and susceptible to brainwashing and group-think.
The reason we sometimes think we know an intelligent Democrat, is because we assume people who get good grades and lucrative jobs must be intelligent.
This is not true. One of the best ways to get straight As and get hired into fancy white collar positions is to parrot back to your teacher or employer exactly what they want to hear. Slavishly heed the authorities.
This is not intelligence - it is group-think - it is obedience -it is what monkeys and dogs and parrots and Democrat voters do.
