But I withdraw my support, and I am sorry to say that. It is because of the fact that this Constitution is wholly inadequate for anyone other than a religious and moral people. Article V is the last chance to save the republic.

Good for Glenn Beck, he gets it. A concon at this juncture would be the Mac-Daddy of all bad ideas.
The error would be to have a Constitution modified by the current crop of politicians instead of the one written by the Founders.
I’m against it because it’s a distraction.
Think about it, if the Democrats IGNORE the Constitution as written, which they clearly do, why wouldn’t they simply IGNORE an updated version of it.
Much more important to drive them out of office, and then drive them out of politics - they forfeited their political legitimacy when they made it clear they had no intention of following today’s Constitution.
Makes sense. Too many opportunists would take advantage like they would in an election.
When the GOP has the House and Senate next year AND Codifies same sex marriage, you’ll realize Glenn was right.

And Beck has painted all of America with a broad brush effectively acting as if there aren’t even 100 Godly men to send to this.

It’s already been irreparably distorted by the 17th Amendment and the expansive Commerce Clause.
"Lord, if I can find 100 godly men in Sodom, will you please not destroy it?"
If Abraham had asked that question of DC, I could have guessed the answer.

Repeal of the 17th Amendment could not be ignored. That should be the only objective. Adding anything else is a diversion for the reason you mentioned.
Now Articles of Secession, I can get behind those, and I'm sure the Marxists would love to see us go as much as we would love to see them go. Honestly, it would be the only way to keep this Civil War from going truly hot. The alternative is to become complete slaves to DC and the coastal states. Some would argue we already are, but we haven't seen the worst that can happen yet.
